Can’t say I’m a fan of this play. Shoving pre with 88 is going to be -EV in the long run. Any over-card kills you. Especially 3 handed with 2 limpers in the pot, you’re essentially risking 38 BB to win 3 BB. There’s something to be said for balancing your shove range, but I think you could’ve achieved more or less the same result by betting 5xbb pre and c-betting the flop, putting yourself much less at risk of getting stacked by someone who loose calls with some suited broadway cards or [censored]ther pocket pair.
